My Lighthouse

My boyfriend bought me a Lighthouse kit back from America for my Birthday. I'd seen it while I was over there with him, in a model shop and later in a miniatures shop we found. I fell in love with at first site, even though the first site was a flat pack box with a photo on the front!

The kit is the special edition New England lighthouse by Real Good Toys. I have been working on it for a while now, getting bit done when I have had the time. Really all that is left to do now is the gallery deck railings, putting the beacon housing in place, putting on the entryway roof, and adding the door. Yeah, and the trims that will take me ages to make. :-)

Oh, and decorating the inside, which I have already started. But man I wish I had painted ceiling and such before I built it. People always say it makes it easier. But this is the first house I have built, so I'll let myself off!! lol

Anyways, I will stop nattering at you and let you see the photos I have.
